About Me
So, who am I?
A hard question to answer, but I will start with the basics. My name is Cameron Stone and I am a 17-year-old New Yorker with a passion for writing. Outside of writing, I love to play field hockey, act in local theater productions, and hang out with my friends. I hope to become a lawyer in the future, with many published works on the side!
My Purpose
I began to explore the world of poetry and prose when I was in middle school-- crafting countless short stories and purchasing a constant flow of books from Barnes and Noble. My love and admiration for writing has grown throughout the years, eventually inspiring me to begin this blog to share it with all of you. My mission is to demonstrate the beauty found within the vulnerability of books and movies, the power of a person's words, and the various forms that poetry can take.
My Style
I don't have any specific style when it comes to writing-- I just usually go with what comes to me! Sometimes I will use intense extended metaphors, but at other times a few words will suffice. I believe that there is no specific writing style that is "correct," and everyone's way of expressing themselves through words is the right way.
